Today I hiked from Hog Camp Gap to Seely-Woodworth Shelter a distance of 7.7 miles.
I spent most of the day being rained on. It’s been overcast, and while it hasn’t been storming, it’s been a constant soaking rain all day. All my clothes are wet, and it got pretty chilly as well. Thankfully, it’s been fairly easy climbing with inclines of only 6-700 feet, keeping up on the ridge I reached yesterday. I’ll go down to the town of Montebello tomorrow for a short resupply before I go up The Priest and then have
what’s probably going to be my last “extreme bounce” with a descent of 3,000 feet followed immediately by a 3,000 foot climb
